There is officially one week to find your fly gear for the pimps and hoes party or Huge Hefner presents a night at the mansion brought to you by the hard working people at CharlieSaysGetDown. It all happens at the Frog on Sat. May 16th and we want this party to be BIG so come on at and show some support. DJ Tanner will be throwing down behind his boy OBC aka DJ Tanner Jr. On that note we all heard he held it DOWN last friday and started the party right. Ya Boooy B unannounced back to back nights Thursday and Friday. Anyone who was lucky enough to catch the after Beer Pong madness thursday night got some spontaneous ass shaking. Word to everyone who came out. Friday night picked up steam as the night went on and I got to say thanks to all those who have been supportive throughout the staff, the big Z night crew, the syracuse lot, and anyone who just wants to have a good time. We do it for you all!
So it’s come to my attention that people who go to school are now out of school for the summer. Kudos on being smarter then me, however i was thinking what a better way to spend your new found free time then to become a CharlieSays intern. Duties would include simply helping out with promotions and planing. A passion for music would help and being 21 would be a good idea in order to take full advantage of all the benefits! Before I go on a rant…cause it might just happen…I want show some love for all those who came out last Sat. and supported us (whether they liked it or not, ha.) Big up to all the staff at the Frog, Chris (96 Dance Champ) Brandon Matt (word), the CSGD crew, Nicool and JaYson, the Zimmer crew (word up to the night shift ha.) my boy OBC for kicking it off, Heather AKA AreaCodesMeetsbBobbyBrown (anytime you want a song just holler cause you know how do do do it), Nate G, the rest of my crew and my boy Scott for keeping it real and turning down all the lame requests (I mean who wants the hear BuckCherry anyways, are you even listening to what I’m playing?) Shame on me for bringing in a different vibe then your usual and ridiculously untalented limewire DJ (ps I’m pretty sure thats illegal, support fresh music!) and your sing along played out annoying what ever that style is (tell me we didn’t throw down harder on sat.) So…just a few things. If you’ve had too much to drink by 11 and are coming to the booth to tell me how much I suck, which is a great way to get that slow jam you wanted played again, try not to spit all over my boy Brett when you talk. I had to clear the saliva off one of my decks that I’m pretty sure cost more then your ex husbands greengold wedding band. Don’t tell me that you are so much better then me because you work for a radio station owned by Federated Media the local white trash version or Clear Channel, by the way thanks for taking any originality out of radio, we all love the same 20 songs every hour on the hour. Know the correct name of the record you want to hear so I can tell you that I definitely don’t have that lame shit. PS Ram Jam only rocks barn parties in Kentucky where two relatives twenty years apart can still have unprotected sex in the hey loft. If you want to talk music with me come at me when your not 10 cocktails deep otherwise keep selling the dream of sucking the clean cut roadie from Nickleback’s cock. I know I don’t hassle you while your working. It might also help to pay attention and not ask for a record I just played 15 min. ago so you don’t get bent out of shape when I don’t play it again for you. Shame on me for bringing something a little bit different to the table for that I am unapoligetic, It’s about time people tried to have fun when they went out and not hear the same shit. Don’t get me wrong I got nothing for love for 99% of the people out there…its the select few that are disrespectful, hollier then thou, childish cocksuckers that try and take the fun out of going out and having fun…go with the flow, try new things, who knows you might enjoy them…so if you see one of them in the crowed do like they do in Bmore and punchemindaface.
Ahh, now for a lighter note. Friday night come out to support the one and only and ridiculously tall OBC and he jumps things off at the Frog. I’ll be in on the late night to do some rockin myself. And just a reminder that we’re putting together a pimps and hos party on the 16th, thats a Saturday, so get your gear ready and let’s have some fun and make some bad decisions.
